"Learning and development, or as it is commonly referred to; training and development or human resource development, encompasses a range of on-the-job and off-the-job methods for acquiring necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve the organizational objectives.
We at SMBL strive to help and support all endeavors that ensure its employees have the appropriate skills and knowledge to fulfill the banks’ strategic and operational objectives. It also entails a commitment to learning and development by the banks’ top management and the board with a view to maintain competitiveness and responsiveness to customers’ needs.
Learning and Development at SMBL offers host of multi disciplinary learning interventions covering importance areas of Commercial, and General Banking apart from other critical topics required to perform job at the higher levels. It provides both class room training opportunities through its three learning centers but also through customized Learning Management Systems (LMS) available to staff across Pakistan.
